We are going to learn the Mandarin pinyin Ba this time, there are 4 basic tunes for a Chinese word (character), some have the 5th tune (light tune), mostly used as the ending tag for a sentence for question or sigh. Here are 5 tunes for the Ba pronunciation: bā, bá, bǎ, bà, ba. It's very useful if you practice all of them in the same time, to speak the standard Mandarin with the pinyin notations.
