Dear friends,

The video lesson today is about some 2-character Chinese adjective words: 好笑(funny), 感人(touching), 舒服(comfortable), and 滿意(satisfied), those adjective words combining with the adverb character 很(very), and turn to be 很好笑(very funny), 很感人(very touching), 很舒服(very comfortable), and 很滿意(very satisfied). The first phrase:

very funny

很(very) + 好笑(funny)

好(quite) + 笑(laugh)

感動(to move; to touch) + 人(people)

lend/borrow 借 the same Chinese word

Dear friends, Let's talk about the Chinese word 借(lend, borrow) in this lesson. It's the same character in Chinese yet with different meanings in English. In a Chinese sentence, whether it means " lend " or " borrow " depending on the related adverbs, subjects, and objects around this Chinese verb  借(lend, borrow) , please watch the following video lesson for some examples.
