Thanksgiving 感恩節 related phrases

the character 烤(kǎo) is a verb "roast, bake, barbecue" or "roasted, baked" for any meat (vegetables), like 烤雞(roast chicken), 烤鴨(roast duck), 烤肉(barbecues), 烤馬鈴薯(baked potato), 烤麵包(bake bread), any food cooked in the oven or on the grill with heat of fire, we use this Chinese character 烤(kǎo).

一起(together) + 吃(eat)

note: the word 一起(together) must place before the verb 吃(eat), this is the Chinese grammar, totally different from the English style.

lend/borrow 借 the same Chinese word

Dear friends, Let's talk about the Chinese word 借(lend, borrow) in this lesson. It's the same character in Chinese yet with different meanings in English. In a Chinese sentence, whether it means " lend " or " borrow " depending on the related adverbs, subjects, and objects around this Chinese verb  借(lend, borrow) , please watch the following video lesson for some examples.
